Edith Chan
In 2002, Edith re-evaluated her priorities and made the decision to depart from software and restructure her life around Multisport. She began serving as board director for the not-for-profit, charitable San Francisco Triathlon Club and training with the best coaches and athletes in the Bay Area. With newfound focus and guidance from her coaches, she made tremendous breakthroughs in her technique and fitness levels throughout the season, earning her numerous podium stands and the Inside Triathlon All-American honors again in 2002.

Running is a the perfect complement to my sedentary nerdy job and dubious dietary habits, plus it's fun. I've run for 14 years including 11 marathons. I live in a suburb of Boston and hope to qualify for the marathon before my kids (ages 14 & 13) have children of their own

I have been a runner off and on for 20 years but in my old age thought racing would be a good idea, so I sought help. With Tom's coaching and the comaraderie of the team I have completed 4 marathons so far and intend to run 2 more this year. I am a bay area native, born in Hayward, raised in Fremont, lived on the Peninsula for 14 years and recently moved to Denver.

I'm just returning to running after a considerable hiatus, and I am excited to be working with Tom and the F-n-F team. I have signed up for the Big Sur marathon in April 2004 and hope to run under 3:00. Anybody interested in training together for a sub-3:00 Boston or Big Sur (within the same week in April)?
Lochlainn O'Shea
Arrived in the Bay Area about 3 yrs ago, and started racing Triathlons. Into my 3rd season now. Wanted to improve my running ability and complete a Marathon in prep for an IM race next May ('04).

Rusty has been running consistently for 25 years. He has completed 4 Marathons and runs for rejuvanation, attitude reinforcement, stress relief and fun. Any Saturday when in town he can be found on the streets of Hillsborough with his running partners John and Peter. Steve Prefontaine and George Sheehan have been major influences on his running.

He ran 1:36:27 at the Home Depot half-marathon, and he recently completed his second marathon (San Diego Rock 'n Roll) in 3:42:02. Dave's favorite race is the KFOG/KNBR Bridge-to-Bridge 12k run in San Francisco.
Craig Slagel
I started running about 3 years ago and have completed 4 marathons. This year I hope to qualify for Boston with a sub 3:10. My favorite Marathon is London (may have something to do with being British)
Renga Sreenivasan
A 30 year old consultant whiz Renga has been running for 8 years with PRs of 9:50 (3K), 17:45 (5K), 29:00 (8k) and 1:35 (Half). He is very passionate about his running, singing (Indian classical) and his wife. His favorite run is a 15-mile loop in Huddart Park in Woodside.

Matthew Todd
Matthew is an amateur pastry cook and chocolatier who only works to support his cooking- and wife-based addictions. Since his life pretty much focused far too much on work and far too little on the finer things (Mikey, cooking, sleep, health), he decided to get a little more serious about this running thing. 2004 was the year to steadily build on 5 and 10K races. 2005 lead to the Big Sur Half, which has been the goal race ever since. 5Ks still prove to be the most fun.

I've been running casually (including a few marathons) for the past 5 years. Looking to break 4 in NYC this year. I like running slow. Trying to like running faster.
