I had never run track before. . . Tom helped me to pace my workouts appropriately.
The pace charts were very helpful as I have a tendency to overtrain and push
myself too hard.

It is two days after finishing my first marathon and I can't wait to start training
for round two. In all honesty the speed work made the biggest difference. Knowing
how fast to run for how long was so much more efficient than running for an hour at
whatever pace "feels right."
